so, i had the same issues. Anyone else with same behavior? Help! Simply uninstall and reinstall boom it’s fixed. Definitely do not have French selected as my language. Fixed it by leaving the Disney+ app and searching for the movie on the fire tv homepage, then using the link that's presented there to open & watch it on Disney+. No solution.
